Cherry is an award-winning Japanese-born Vietnamese makeup artist, hairstylist, licensed esthetician and cosmetic tattoo artist based in New York City, traveling for work internationally.


Cherry’s educational background includes a bachelor's degree in Global Studies from UCLA (University of California Los Angeles), a diploma in Fashion Make-Up Artistry from MUD (Make-Up Designory), and a diploma in Esthetics from Christine Valmy International School, as well as esthetics license. She is also certified by LGS hair clinic for scalp micropigmentation.

Combining her expertise in skin care and 14 years of makeup artistry, Cherry has also worked with various clients from inspirational women and men to celebrities and icons like basketball star Carmelo Anthony, Method Man, Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach, Joss Stone, Euro Vision star Netta Barzilai, Kristen Chenoweth, Shameik Moore, Sylvan Esso, Amandla Stenberg, etc., brides to supermodels, CEO's and founders like Emily Weiss from Glossier to artists, designers to authors, dancers to lawyers. She has also keyed many film shoots. 


Besides New York, she has worked in various other cities like Los Angeles and Tokyo, and occasionally travels to those places and beyond. While in Japan she obtains many high quality Japanese beauty products to provide special experience to her clients. 


Because she believes that beauty should not involve toxic chemicals, most of her makeup products are paraben free. It is her goal to let her artistry, work and ethics always come from a place of Love, and she finds most joy in sharing God’s love, as well as seeing her clients see their own beauty the way God sees it.
